It Isn’t About Fireworks

He stood in the corner all alone
To make his presence invisible for all

Fireworks, decorations and the flags
He could never afford because of the tags

Everyone was so happy, celebrations everywhere
He had to step back after that death glare
Look at him, he's also the part of nation

But there's no unity, no dedication
Have you ever gone through nation's definition?

Ideals stood firm in the revolution
People barely survived in the war zone

In a second or two another friend was gone
Some have been lost along the way

Others tried hard to make it anyway
Holding heart in hand for our sake

That was the courage rivals couldn't take
United we stand, divided we fall

Unity faith discipline, where's that all?
14th of August, when all ropes were tied

This is the day when freedom cried
Today is no different, it's just a date

Instead of love there's so much hate
We've lost the path, but not our dream

There's still a hope, let it stream
It's just an arrival, wait for sunlight

And wish for a tomorrow that should be bright
It isn’t about fireworks, it's about revolution

Start it from the scratch, make a revolution
O Muslims of this country! Can you hear me?

We are one nation under God
To share His peace and justice for all
