Aspect

Everything has a positive and negative aspect. When a nation does not have a clear vision it adopts the negative aspect of everything avail-able to it.
Just take a simple example:

Net cafe: After this facility available to the people, how this was used is not a secret! Those people who could not have internet facility were supposed to go to net cafe and do their assignments, projects, maintain a contact with their far living relatives etc, etc. We used this facility negatively that in return badly affected the society. And now many parents do not allow their children for work in net cafe.

Media: Media can play a very vital, creative and con-structure role for the development of our society and people. It can be like constructor in building up of a nation to make people aware of a problem, an issue and gather a nation on one platform. Today entertainment channels, news channels, all are opposing and degrading each other’s strategies. They must work cooperatively. In our country getting education is expensive than television (dish T.V, Cable network). People, who do not go for education, have televisions in their homes. Media through its educational campaigns can educate people. Media is using its freedom negatively. News channels and other programs are creating chaos, vulgarity and many other social problems in society.

Enlightened moderation: Our country is a developing country. Many of us might be of the view that they will be developed nation by following western methods. But, NO, it’s not the truth. Western civilizations have their own culture which they follow and we have our own unique culture. Following western culture would not help us in achieving our societal goals. Modernism and education are different from each other. We take them interchangeably.

Our educated fashion designers feel proud to promote western cultures, traditions and dresses that are not acceptable in an Islamic society. They are promoting western and non-Islamic culture in a Muslim country. Seeing the designer’s collection, no one can see even a single point of our culture. Being Muslim and being a Pakistani they must pro-mote Pakistani culture in our country as well as outside country. They should be aware of their cultural norms and values, their social responsibilities as well as Islamic limitations. They have ultimate power to influence people’s taste so they must use it in developing our culture in our country as well as on international level so we can proudly tell the world that “Yes! We are a Muslim country and we have our own unique cultural and social values”.

“By simply taking an initiative we can bring a big positive change in our country. But the problem is lack of creativity, and sincerity. We are not sincere with ourselves and our country then how can we expect others to be sincere with us!”
