Event: INAUGURATION CEREMONY LRIP - CEES ENVIRONMENT PROGRAMME

Legal Research Institute of Pakistan has identified the area of Air Pollution as a matter of public importance particularly in view of United Nation’s indicators which have projected Peshawar as the 6th most polluted city in the world.
Initially, LRIP had organized an in-house session on 17th May 2014 to consider the need of work in the area of air pollution and in this regard, a founder group was established which has decided to address this issue of public importance in UN perspective and by engaging the relevant stake holders.
In this regard, Engr. Muhammad Ameer Hassaan Butt, Executive Director of LRIP's Center of Excellence for Energy Studies, delivered a presentation on “Status of Air Pollution in Peshawar: Where do we stand right now?” on 24th May 2014. On 14th June 2014, a certificate distribution ceremony was held to acknowledge the students who participated in the presentation.
As a consequence, LRIP and CEES have established an Environment Programme called LCEP and will inaugurate it on 21st June 2014.
An Environment Revolution is about to take place, be a part of it!
